Reflection of the emotional world of a person in english praseological units dissertation

The object of this dissertation research is English phraseological units that characterize the emotional state of a person, selected from several explanatory dictionaries.
The subject of the study is a set of features that help us to consider phraseological units as a linguistic form of expression of the realities of reality on the basis of their conceptual significance for the linguistic and cultural association of people.
The purpose of the dissertation research is a comprehensive description of the microsystem of phraseological units characterizing the emotional state of a person, based on the consideration of their conceptual, structural and semantic features reflecting the uniqueness of perception and evaluation of the surrounding world and oneself in it.

  To achieve this goal, the following tasks were defined: based on the study of literature on the problem of emotionality;

  To characterize the current state of the development of issues related to the description of English phraseological units denoting the emotional state of a person;
  
• 
  To choose methods of identification, characteristics, systematization of phraseological units of interest;
  
• 
  To identify the structural properties of these phraseological units on the basis of taking into account the role of significant and non-significant components, the nature of the connection and syntactic relations between them;
  
• 
  To present the specifics of the structural properties of the studied phraseological units in the form of typical structural models;
  
• 
  To establish the semantic features of the selected phraseological units, indicating the peculiarities of the manifestation of the emotional state of a person;
  
• 
  To show the specifics of the semantic features of the phraseological units under consideration based on the description of their conceptual features and categorization of emotional meanings;
  
• 
  To highlight synonymic and antonymic connections between phraseological units of individual conceptual groups and subgroups;to substantiate the principles of an integrated approach to English phraseological units characterizing the emotional state of a person.
