INTRODUCTION
Current research shows that investigation of phraseologisms expressing the emotional state of a person. It analyses general semantic feature of a group of phraseological units, various emotional states, linguistic and extralinguistic characteristics, human emotions and phraseological-semantic fields. It is noticeable that a special place in semantic studies of recent times is occupied by the problems of emotional semantics, closely related to the so-called emotional aspect of the human factor in the language . Human emotions are reflected in language. It is a person who is the creator and native speaker of the language, enters into various relationships with other people, and the surrounding reality, experiencing various emotions. Language, as a means of communication, reflects human emotions.
In modern studies, the influence of the human factor on language is noted when the content of language units is expanded and enriched with components of an emotional nature. It is recognized that "language has a heart", but also "the heart has a language" (Guenthner, 1997), and therefore, for the expression of emotional experiences, feelings, special means are formed in each language that can reflect the emotional states of a person, recreate the linguistic picture of the world and the feelingelement of objective reality - a person. Phraseological units are one of the linguistic means of reflectingreality, but the peculiarity of their meaning lies in the fact that it is "more regularly than the lexical meaning, used for figurativecharacterization and enhanced subjective assessment of persons and facts, to convey the expression and emotional state of the speaker" (V.M.Glukhov.1989,35). However, the paradox lies in the fact that when studying the semantic field of emotionality, lexemes are often chosen as the object of observations, rather than phraseological units. And the complicated informativeness, evaluative element, imagery and other signs of phraseological units make them a "tough nut" for researchers.

The problems of phraseology were solved in the works of such prominent scientists as N.N.Amosova, V.D.Arakin, I.V.Arnold, A.I.Alekhina, V.P.Zhukov, V.V.Vinogradov, V.G.Gak, L.M.Vasiliev, Yu.N.Karaulov, V.N.Telia, A.V.Kunin, I.A.Sternin, V.M.Mokienko, D.N.Shmelev. Nevertheless, it can be noted that recently there have been a number of works devoted to the consideration of stable combinations in many languages of the world. These are the works of researchers such as M.I.Umarkhodzhaeva (1977,1983), M.Malokha (1996), Z.V.Smetanina (1994), N.B.Usacheva (1998),I.A.Evtiheeva (1997), A.A.Khusnutdinova (1996), R.H.Khairulina (1997), N.B.Shvelidze (1997), G.B.Mardanova (1998), F.H.Tarasova (1999), A.S.Khammatova (1999), Z.M.Raemguzhina (2000), N.M.Rodionova (1999), E.V.Nikolina (2002), L.Ch.Latipova (2002) and others. At the same time, young scientists of Uzbekistan also contribute to the development of theoretical and practical phraseology, especially on the material of Uzbek, Russian and Germanic languages. These are the studies of G.M.Atayeva, J.Matyakubov, S.Umirova, E.H.Juraev, A. Jabborova and others. Continuity in science makes it possible to achieve good results and fully comply with the tasks of reforming, first of all, domestic science and the practice of teaching languages at school. Therefore, the study of personality, its upbringing, the representation of the spiritual and emotional world can be considered an urgent task of all areas of science. It is important that in recent works phraseological units, in particular, English, are considered as a fragment language picture of the world. And the remark of E.P.Kuznetsova is significant, who noted that "phraseological units are always directed at the subject, i.e. they arise not so much to describe the world as to interpret, evaluate and express a subjective attitude towards it"1 (E.P. Kuznetsova.2002.10). This state of affairs necessitates the consideration of phraseological units that characterize the emotional state of a person, his emotional reactions to the influence of the surrounding reality, his assessment of everything that is happening around. This is all the more important because there is a lot of talk about the "cognitive revolution" and the need for a cognitive approach to the objects under study. At the same time, itis argued that "a person should be studied as a system of processing information, and human behavior should be described and explained in terms of his internal states." But we have to state that the field of emotional has not been studied deeply enough: the corpus of English phraseological units сharacterizing the emotional state of a person has not been identified, there is no comprehensive description of the semantics and structure of these stable combinations, their syntagmatic and paradigmatic properties have not been disclosed, many issues related to the establishment of the boundaries of the microsystem, its laws and prospects have not been resolved. The conceptual essence of emotives has not been disclosed, grouping has not been performed phraseological units on a conceptual basis. All this testifies to the relevance of our research. The questions that invariably arise when considering phraseological units of the English language that characterize the emotional state of a person can be recognized not only as private, but also as general theoretical, since their solution at the microsystem level will allow us to draw certain conclusions about the general and specific features of the entire phraseological system of the English language.
Most of the phraseological units in the language, by their linguistic and extralinguistic characteristics, serve to express various emotional states associated with the moods of the interlocutors, their feelings. This state is realized in a speech in various ways: by the situation of speech, intonation, by such paralinguistic means as hints and indications. A certain role is played by stylistic methods of transforming phraseological units in the context of the narrative. A group of phraseological units is distinguished, which are organically characteristic of the expression of only human emotions and feelings. The general semantic feature of such a group of phraseological units has an extralinguistic nature. All phraseological units in this case designate and express human emotions. For greater persuasiveness, it is necessary to characterize the emotionally expressive shades and estimated values of such phrases, taking into account the phraseological-semantic fields. It should be taken into account that the exact distribution of phraseological units by phrase semantic fields is impossible, since "in psychology (and therefore in language - A. M) there is not and cannot be an exact" catalog "of feelings, since the nuances and variations of feelings are endless. In this regard, not all existing phraseological units of the Uzbek language with motivational assessments are classified in the work, which is explained not only by the limited scope of this study but also by the large number of phraseological units that express various feelings and emotions of native speakers. In some cases, it was necessary to include units in one field, which denote several adjacent emotions.
