INTRODUCTION 
This work is devoted to a comprehensive analysis of simultaneous 
translation (ST). 
Simultaneous translation appeared in the 30s of the XX century and 
is the youngest type of translation. Initially, the very hypothesis about the 
possibility of this type of translation caused heated debate. After the 
demonstration of the capabilities of the ST, it began to be used at many 
international events, but the study of this type of translation began only in 
the 60s of the XX century, almost 30 years after its inception. To date, 
much has changed both in the organization of the ST, and in theoretical 
and practical information about it. 
The purpose
of the study is to consider the history of the formation 
of the joint venture, its current state, as well as the leading methods and 
strategies of the joint venture. 
The subject
of this work is the communicative activity plan of a 
simultaneous interpreter, represented by the methods and strategies of the 
SP implemented in the process of translation. 
To achieve this goal, it is planned to solve a number of 
tasks
: 
1) to review the scientific literature on the strategies and techniques 
of simultaneous translation; 
2) describe and analyze the history of simultaneous translation, 
highlight the key stages in the formation of a joint venture; 
3) highlight the basic concepts of the topic being studied; 
4) identify the types of simultaneous translation and determine their 
place in the ST system; 
5) state the fundamental principles of training simultaneous 
interpreters; 
6) describe the process of organizing a joint venture;

7) consider the views of scientists on the problem of 
psychophysiological load in ST; 
8) describe the techniques and strategies of the ST; 
9) analyze how a simultaneous interpreter's knowledge of ST 
techniques and strategies affects the quality of translation. 
The following research methods were used in the work: a descriptive 
method, an analytical method, a method of analysis of translation 
transformations to identify the methods and strategies used, as well as the 
method of quantitative calculations.
