Step five
The detailed process of the lessons. Before starting each lesson, the teacher checked the homework so that they recalled previous learned topics. At the end of the lesson, she assessed them individually. As follows, it is provided with the only information that was conveyed newly. Due to both groups have the same topic, but different methods; the researcher gives the lesson process in a table that is divided into two columns in order to facilitate comparing the exercises of the lessons.

Lesson I. Topic: Pretty colors (numbers also taught)
|
The pupils were highly motivated by their teachers that have been teaching so far. They were very interested in this language, they were eager to train any kind of activities that the teacher use. In the beginning, the researcher was surprised during the lesson when a girl from the group came to the lesson with high temperature, and the teacher asked why she had come in spite of her illness, the kid responded, “I want to take part in the English lesson because I love it”. They kept silent and did not interrupt the lesson or the teacher. However, when they were competing with each other, there appeared some noise, anyway, the teacher could make them silent quickly because where there is discipline, and in such a place, any education can be conveyed as planned. The pupils did their tasks on time. As the first lesson’s topic was about learning colors and shapes, the first exercise was listening, pointing and repeating colored shapes, for example, a red heart, a pink circle, a green square, a blue triangle and etc. The teacher distributed sheets that had the pictures of the new topic. The teacher played the track, from the speech of the track the learners listened to the words and pointed at that was being meant.
The second exercise, in this point, the pupils were distributed sheets of paper with uncolored shapes and they were put the listening track of which to paint from the given shapes. Before giving the sheets, the teacher warned not to look at previous ones and not to copy out what color to paint in the shapes. While all the pupils were painting after listening to the track, the teacher noticed one of the pupils, Sevinch, was coping from the first paper hiding under her desk. The T. took away the sheet, and explained them again in order to help her. They repeated until they learned by heart.
Interesting information that the teacher found out the pupils’ favorite game, when children were asked to repeat a new word by counting their fingers, as there are 10 fingers on a hand, they repeated 10 times and it was very funny for them.
The third exercise, they talked with their friends by asking questions. “What color is your triangle?”
“It is red”.
After teacher’s explanation of this new expression, she realized that some pupils were still doing several mispronunciations. She worked on the specific pupils in an individual way by showing them how to pronounce words correctly in her own mouth.
The fourth task they were put the listening track of a song and colored the stars in the poem according to it.
The last task was to learn the numbers by heart. The teacher wrote the numbers on the board and helped to memorize. (Appendix …)

Step six
Lesson II. Topic: It is a schooling day
|
As the topic was about school, they first were distributed sheets of paper; the initial exercise was to name the numbers when the teacher pointed out them randomly.
The next task was to find the addition of the simple adding numbers and they talked with their friends asked questions like “What is twelve plus two?” “Fourteen”.
The third exercise was singing song. The pupils sang the song and did the movements of the lyrics:
Look and listen,
Look, look, look!
Stand up, sit down,
And open your book!
Look and listen,
Look, look, look!
Hands up, hands down,
And close your book!
At the beginning, until they understood the word well, they mixed the movements and the task was done incorrectly. Therefore, the teacher gave them some time to work in pairs. They asked for the translation one another. “What is the translation of look in Uzbek? “qara”
The fourth task was to play a game. The teacher said, “All the reds stand up with me! Or stand up all the greens with me!” Beforehand for 15 pupils, the teacher distributed different colored sheets of paper (one of them did not come to the lesson). The activity was very interesting and they enjoyed much.

Step seven
Lesson III. Topic: A lovely weather
|
|
The first exercise was the teacher presentation about the seasons; after they slightly got acquainted with the new words the teacher taught them the expressions of the conversation which they were going to have next “What is your favorite season? – Winter and so on”.
Then, the teacher distributed the cards that there were description of the weather like “it is snowing, it is raining, it is sunny or cold”, after their looking through the cards, teacher taught them the expression “What is the weather like?”
The third exercise was ask questions using the structure “Is it sunny? Yes, it is, No it is not; Is it snowing?” They asked for them their friends.
The fourth exercise was to ask questions with the help of a ball, teacher asked a question related to the lesson and throw the ball to a pupil. Then, she/he answered the question again threw back to the teacher like that they finished the conversation; the pupil who had just been responded threw the ball to another pupil she/he wanted, the game kept on like a chain.
Finally, teacher asked the question: “How many seasons in a year?” and began answering. Pupils answered chorally: “There are 4 seasons in a year”; “Today is rainy day”.
Step eight

Lesson I
Topic: Colors (numbers also taught)
|
The first exercise was the teacher’s presentation of the new words; with the help of visual aids, she helped them memorize the vocabulary. 12. Sobirov Nozimjon was one of the bright pupils in the class; her learning style was kinesthetic, she likes to learn something by watching rather than explanation. She is good at math. She is also keen on learning a new language. 12. Tursunova Robiya has a defect in her utterances of the speech; she cannot pronounce words correctly and does many pauses in every syllable. Despite of such difficulties she participated during the lesson very actively with her friend Nozimjon.
As well as, others’ participations were also satisfactory. When the teacher showed the pictures turn by turn that were colored and interesting for them, they stood up suddenly and named the colors. The teacher changed the game slightly, she said any color in English and the pupils had to find an item with this color. In this game, the teacher divided mentally the group into 3 subgroups as they were sitting in 3 lines. She made them compete each other saying nothing to them, it meant that there were 3 subgroups, just mentioned girls were in different ones, Nozimjon’s group was winner, Robiya’s group was the second and it was pity that Barno’s group lost suddenly.
In the second task, they were made to draw and paint the learnt shapes with colors they wished and they were asked to tell or describe their results. Although their painting were not so excellent, anyway they tried hard to assimilate to the real ones.
In the third task, the learners learned the numbers from one to ten; they also were presented through the pictures by the teacher. As follows, the song was given:
One, two, me and you
One two three you and me
Four five do the jive
Six seven eight wait, wait, wait
Nine ten let us start again.
Most of the time was consumed with learning by heart the new vocabulary of the song by repeating them again and again.
The fourth task was multimedia. The pupils were shown a video which was dedicated to see the colors through cartoons. This task was required to play again several times by the children. However, the teacher did not agree because of the timing.
The last task was to make a hand band with their name, for it they needed scissors, glue, and colored paper. The teacher showed them a big sample of it. Anyway, this task was difficult for them and the teacher had to work hard in order to complete their hand bands with the names for their heads.
Subsequently, the teacher played the cassette and pupils repeated after it.
Colors all around, Colors you can see, Yellow in the sun, Blue in the sea, Red in the apples, Green in the tree. (Appendix …)
