The Subjects
In order to complete the diploma work and find out the exact answers to the questions the researcher has sat for, she has chosen two groups of first grade pupils from two different schools. In the research work, the groups will be called as GI (Group I) and GII (Group II). The first group consists of 16 people in total. Nine of the pupils are male while the rest of the group is female. The other group also contains 16 pupils, but there are six male and 10 female. All the pupils are around at the age of 6, 7, and 8. Their nationalities are only Uzbek. The researcher has chosen these 2 groups due to their educational background that is in each group the pupils have attended kinder gardens which have well-organized syllabuses and lesson plans with the aim of achieving to improve their language skills in their mother tongue. Linguists claim that if somebody knows their own mother tongue well, in this case it facilitates their learning of other foreign languages.
The Materials
Tools:
visual aids; such as cards, pictures to learn by heart the new words;
a ball, toys, dolls in order to play games;
a speaker in order to listen to tracks and the original versions of the songs.
The researcher exploits lesson plans, books, the Internet materials, questionnaires, physical activities, various exercises, visual aids, simple vocabulary words as materials during this scientific work.
There are three topics for both groups; overall, six lesson plans are made up for conducting the six classes. Although, the topics are the same, the methods will be different. For GI the teacher conducts the lesson via communicative approach, while lexical approach is for GII. The lesson plans contain activities, objectives, procedures, duration, and mode of interaction, materials and aids.

The samples of the handouts, visual aids, the lyrics of the songs are demonstrated in the Appendix.
The investigator prepares a questionnaire for the teachers of both schools to gather more information about effective methods. Nobody as a teacher can understand a pupil’s educational state, therefore, the teachers are asked to give some information about the learners, what they like, do not like. For the educators the questions are only six that is about description, the role of vocabulary and what methods they would add and what techniques or materials are good for the learners While they tick the answers or give their feedbacks on the sheets of paper, the researcher in an oral form canvasses the pupils. The questions that are going to be given are about their interests, what topics have been learned so far, or what topics they expect to have.
