INTRODUCTION
During the more 30 years of Independence a huge number of successful reformations are administered by our Government under the leadership of the first President of our Republic Islam Abduganievich Karimov. Although this is often a rather short period of your time for a young state to develop, our motherland has been ready to overcome many difficulties and commenced to prosper again in many fields of life. Today Uzbekistan may be a world-known mighty and peaceful country that stands at an equivalent rank with the world’s independent democratic nations. I feel that the subsequent data can illustrate the sensible evidence of our opinion.
The teaching of English as a far off language is now one among the foremost important subjects in most countries. Teaching foreign languages in Uzbekistan has become vital since the primary days of Independence, where much attention to the rising of people’s education level and their intellectual growth is paid. Therefore, our president Sh. M. Mirziyoyev noticed that for achieving ready goals in educational sphere the entire system of working staff should be improved. The president emphasized the role of teachers in creating and developing learners’ knowledge, improving their social and cognitive abilities and skills. Shavkat Mirziyoyev wants teachers spend their time for reading interesting books and for self-improvement and self-criticism.
Especially after the Decree of President “On measures for further improvement of foreign language learning” as of December 10, 2018 may be a key factor for modernization of teaching foreign languages altogether stages, during which the importance of teaching and learning English across the country were acknowledged. So, a far off language becomes one among the important educational subjects, in the least educational institutions. As our President said: “Today it is difficult to revalue the importance of knowing foreign languages for our country as our people see their great prosperous future within the cooperation with foreign partners”. This attention for teaching foreign languages is being developed by our President Sh. M. Mirziyoyev by happening to sign increasing decrees. Especially, the last Presidential decree 2019 pays great attention to enhance the foreign languages teaching and learning processes. There was written to widen the amount of language learners in every educational place. Moreover, very great deal of cash is involved to enhance foreign teaching. These developments are organized with teachers then teachers should create their own teaching approaches and techniques during this way pedagogical technologies are the most helpers for teachers. For the previous couple of decades of teaching foreign languages, we pay great attention to teaching students not merely humanistic discipline and vocational skills, but also required learning of foreign languages, for this is often critical for them to take care of pro-active communication with their counterparts abroad, get extensive knowledge of everything that is happening around globe, and command the august world of intellectual treasure.
My course work dedicated to introduce personal life and literary works of Charles Dickens. Charles Dickens had written his plays and any kind of his books novels in Victorian age.
How much do you know about Victorian literature? Many are familiar with the most famous writer of the Victorian era, Charles Dickens, but Dickens is only the tip of the iceberg. The British Victorian period from 1837 to 1901 is widely described as the reign of Queen Victoria. However, Victorian literature has moved a little further away from these dates. Indeed, some historians claim that the Victorian era actually began with the passage of the Reform Act of 1832. Politically and socially, I agree that the main ideas put forward during the Victorian era began before Victoria became a princess. By 1837, for example, a stage had already been created for the main themes of Victorian literature. Some key features of Victorian literature continued even after the death of Queen Victoria. This article discusses a variety of literature created during the Victorian era, including novels, poems, and short stories. I hope that after reading you will learn how to identify and better understand the literature written in the Victorian era.
Victorian literature was often a reflection or response to historical events and social conditions. It was a time of great change in England. At the height of the Industrial Revolution, manufacturing cities were crowded and filthy. Many citizens lived in poverty and destitution. Men, women, and children worked long hours in harsh conditions. Prisoners ’prisons and workplaces are full of the poor. People finally began to worry about these conditions, and several laws were passed to reduce working hours and clean up cities. Reform is a common topic in Victorian literature.
It was also a period of new discoveries. Advances in technology, medicine, and transportation have improved the lives of many, as Victorian literature shows. The middle class grew stronger, and the father was often the focus of the family as a powerful head of the family. Social restrictions have also been tightened. Society in general has become cautious about sex. Even words like “pregnant” have become taboo. Instead of saying someone was pregnant, the woman was told “waiting for a package from Heaven” or another harmless term was used. One of the most famous Victorian novels commenting on the culture of that period was Vanity Fair, written by William Makepis Tekerey.
Strictly established religious beliefs are also forbidden in Darwin's works. Some Victorians began to question their long-standing beliefs, while many rejected Darwin's theories altogether. This struggle is often reflected in Victorian literature.
