"THE EFFECTIVE STRATEGIES IN TEACHING ENGLISH SPEAKING SKILL TO UZBEK STUDENTS AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE”
CHAPTER I
INTRODUCTION
A. Background of the study
The process of imparting knowledge to students about a subject that is studied known as teaching. The purpose of the teaching-learning process is for students to understand and comprehend information. To achieve the purpose of teaching, the teacher must be creative in gathering materials and teaching methods that allow students to quickly acquire the content. Apart from that, the teacher's participation is essential for a successful learning process.
It is clear that a teacher is a qualified someone who is in charge of educating, educating, supervising, directing, training, assessing, and evaluating students. As a result, the educator must be able to create a pleasant and conducive learning environment in which the students may enjoy the session while also understanding the subject.
It is commonly recognized I should have a creative and fresh teaching method in order to teach students. It is possible that if I do not use methods, the students will find it difficult to understand and will become bored. Because pupils are not accustomed to using English in their daily lives, this is the case.
So far, I decided to do a research study named "The effective strategies in teaching English speaking skill to Uzbek students as a foreign language” for the reasons stated above:
B. Formulation of the problem
According to the context of the study, firstly I faced the question, "What are the teacher's strategies in teaching speaking at Turtkul Agro-Industry Vocational College?"
C. Purpose of the study
To narrow the statement of this issue, I will focus on the following topics:

  Teacher strategies for teaching English at Turtkul Agro-Industry Vocational College;

  Students’ reactions to teacher approaches for teaching English at Turtkul Agro-Industry Vocational College.
