CHAPTER 3. THE INFLUENCE OF REGIONAL FACTORS ON THE PHYSICAL FITNESS OF CHILDREN AND STUDENTS
The vital activity of the organism is influenced by climatic factors of the region of residence. However, the magnitude of this influence on indicators related to human motor capabilities has not yet been fully studied.
3.1 ECOLOGICAL FEATURES OF UZBEKISTAN
The climate of Uzbekistan is sharply continental, with the manifestation of arid signs. The weather typical for autumn begins in the second decade of September and ends in the 20th of November. The duration is an average of 69 days. This is the shortest season of the year. The onset of autumn is characterized by a decrease in temperature by 7-8 degrees compared to summer.
In September, i.e. at the beginning of the school year, the average monthly temperature in most regions is +19.up to +24 degrees; minimum – from +15 to +20 degrees; maximum – from +30 to +35 degrees. In the third decade, there is a decrease in temperature to +4...+9 degrees, in places up to +7 ...+12.
In October, in most regions of Uzbekistan, the temperature ranges from +11 ... to +15 degrees, in Surkhandarya – from +17 ... to +18, in Kara kalpak Stan from +19 to +10. This month in Tashkent and Samarkand regions there are frosts up to -2 degrees, in the Central regions of the republic, rains are possible. The daytime temperature is from +12 ... +15, and in the north in places +2 ... +7. The maximum temperature reaches +24 ... +29 degrees, and in some areas even +30 ... +33. But a short–term decrease in temperature by 1-2 degrees or more is not excluded.
Winter weather is usually established from the third decade of November and lasts until the first days of March. The average duration of the winter season is 102 days “Real winter” with a steady transition through 0 degrees downward begins on December 30 and ends in early February.
In December, the average monthly temperature is +4...+7 degrees, in the south of the republic - +7 ... +11. During most of the month, temperature fluctuations are observed at a high background level when the average daily temperature is 5-12 degrees above normal.
There are significant fluctuations in temperature during the day. Thus, the average monthly air temperature in November is 1-4 degrees Celsius (5-7 degrees Celsius is observed in places in the south of the republic). The lowest temperature is observed in Kara kalpak Stan;
In the Fergana Valley during most of January, the daytime temperature is from +5 to +10 degrees. The duration of the spring season is about 73 days. The average monthly temperature in March in most of the territory of the republic is from +11 ... to +16 degrees, in the south of the republic from +13.up to +18. In early March, the daytime air temperature rises to +21 ... +25 degrees, in the south of the republic to +28, but by the second decade it drops slightly – to +15 ... +19, in the south - to +21 degrees. The warmest periods are from April 13 to 16 and 22 to 27 – the temperature rises to +14 ... to +19, in the south to +18 ...+24, the highest is April 13-16 from +26 ... to +32, and April 22-27 – from +30 ... to +35; on the south is up to +38 degrees in places.
Analysis of temperature conditions during the period of experimental studies revealed that the sharpest temperature fluctuations were observed in January and February of each year. The hottest time was from mid–May to September. In the remaining months, the climatic conditions were favorable before classes were held outdoors, but taking into account possible unexpected weather changes, which requires the availability of well-maintained indoor sports facilities in the system of school educational institutions.
