integrating the principles of «green» economy into education and science, increasing 
the potential and creating a favorable environment for the transition to the «green» 
economy and supporting «green» investments.
The «Strategy» is implemented in several stages, each of which provides for the 
approval of a separate annual Action Plan for its implementation. 
At the initiative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, an 
Interdepartmental Council for the promotion and implementation of the «green» 
economy in the Republic of Uzbekistan was formed.
The 
Ministry of Economy and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan
also 
monitors the full, timely and high-quality implementation of the measures included in 
the annual Action Plans for its implementation. 
The implementation of the Strategy will contribute to improving management in 
the field of increasing the energy efficiency of the economy, rational consumption 
and conservation of natural resources, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, ensuring 
access to «green» energy, creating «green» jobs and ensuring climate stability.
