The main feature of the management of the system of higher 
professional education in modern conditions is that the problems associated with this 
have been solved in recent years only at the level of the educational system. The most 
important principle of higher education management at all levels should be the 
principle of consistency.

INTRОDUСTIОN 
 
Features of managing the development of the educational system in the new 
economic conditions are determined, firstly, by the place that education occupies in 
modern social development, namely, by the fact that education is turning into one of 
the most extensive and important areas of human activity, which is closely 
intertwined with all other spheres of public life: economics, politics, the spheres of 
both material production and spiritual life. Secondly, the features of managing the 
modern education system are fundamentally determined by the state in which the 
sphere of education has been in recent decades, namely, the state of exponential 
expansion, accompanied by acute crisis phenomena and the search for ways out of 
the crisis. These searches are both theoretical and practical. In the course of these 
searches, the main features of the new educational system are revealed
