It is true that print media has played considerable role in changing the perception of 
individuals. 
Number of reasons are responsible behind its influence and I believe that it always 
leave positive impact on people’s mind. 
Below mentioned factors show the importance of print media in people’s lives. 
First and 
foremost reason is the fact that 
newspapers are accessible to each and every member of the 
society
owing to its cheaper availability and wider coverage, more importantly they generally
covers all the aspects of our life
including 
business, sports, politics, etcetera. Moreover, 
they 
are also the most trustworthy source c
omparing to other means of getting news like television 
or internet as they are the
oldest and conventional source on which people have faith. For 
example,
during freedom fight movement in India, news media played a pivotal role in 
addressing the public of the country with the support of which ultimately people got 
independence from the British rule in 1948. 
Furthermore, it is a link between government and 
people because, 
authorities use newspapers to inform citizens about new policies and laws, 
and even folks too raise their demands and voice in front of regime.
I feel its influence is always positive on people’s perception. Firstly, they not only alert public about 
the happenings but also create sympathy among people to come forward for helping the victims 
like in case of natural disasters, as after watching the news related to them, people do give helping 
hand for the needy, thus relations become strong between denizens since they change people’s 
thinking about one nation Secondly, they provide information about sports and business sectors 
because readers understand about success stories of achievers as they act as inspirational and 
motivational source for them and after seeing the performance of their favorite superstars in the 
print media, masse’s start encouraging their girls to participate in those events. Finally, they spread 
awareness among individuals due to reading real facts about politicians or celebrities by virtue of 
which individuals come to know about the reality. 
In conclusion, no doubt certain factors about newspapers put great impact in changing the thinking 
of readers which is always fruitful for them.
