Now the machine is very complex, and a lot of difficult work is automated. Does this 
machine automation have more pros than cons ?
 
Due to the revolutionary changes in the industrial sector, sophisticated machines have 
reduced the physical work done by humans. While the automation in machinery has 
certainly eased the work load, I assert that this change is disastrous in various aspects. 
On the one hand, there are some benefits of these modern machines. 
First and foremost, it 
becomes the determining factor in today’s manufacturing world and this 
penetration of 
automation has allowed companies
to do 
mass production with outstanding speeds and 
greater repeatability providing quality with low operational variability. 
Moreover, this cutting 
edge technology helps in risk- intensive jobs, 
especially in fields like space exploration and coal 
mining
where
dangerous environments are the primary factors and these instruments are 
also useful in conditions like
extreme temperature or radioactive atmosphere. 
Last but not 
least, some tasks are beyond human capabilities which humans cannot even imagine to handle like 
carrying
heavy loads
or performing 
multitasks which machines can easily perform without 
any kind of difficulties.
On the other hand, there are more drawbacks associated which these modern machines. Firstly, 
machines have fatal affects on environment and they cause more pollution as compared to humans 
because they tend to release toxic gases or radiations which cause air pollution with allergies that 
are detrimental for individuals. Secondly, large initial investments are required as use of machines 
tend to possess unpredictable maintenance cost and price of training employees to operate them. 
To add to it, these utilization of appliances do give rise to the unemployment rate which is 
intrinsically tied to rate of crime and incline in sedentary life as physical work will reduce which 
would provide impetus to widespread of obesity. Finally, there are so many fields like medical 
etcetera where manual dexterity is required in each and every respect to be able to achieve success 
and in such department’s machine always lack.
In conclusion, it can be said that companies that have embraced automation have benefitted 
somewhat from it, but the amount of flexibility which humans provide to any firm cannot be 
matched with the help of machines.
