The experiment was split in two stages:
1.Preparation stage. At this stage, it was necessary to fully explore the real level of development of social competence. Therefore preparation for the experimental work consisted in the following tasks:
Determination of the level of students’ motivation for participation in the socio-cultural online projects;
Determination of basic level of socio-cultural competence and skills necessary to participate in the socio-cultural online projects for further diagnosis;
Choice of control and experimental groups and the number of students in each group;
Determination of the required duration of the experiment;
Development of specific methods for studying the entry level of social competence as well as the key skills necessary for the development of socio-cultural competence;
Checking the availability and effectiveness of the methods chosen for a small number of students;
Development of indicators and criteria to draw conclusions on about the changes in the experimental group under the influence of appropriate educational influences.
- The development of course content "International online projects as a factor of socio-cultural competence."
2). The second stage was experimental and analytical. Implementation of the experiment includes the introduction of an optional course “International online projects as a factor of socio-cultural competence” in the educational process and the experimental verification of theoretical assumptions of the study. The purpose of the work at this stage was to select and adjust means of organizing activities for students during intercultural online project in accordance with the objectives set in the first stage.
At this stage, students master the fundamentals and principles of the solution of social and cultural objectives and rational methods of finding necessary socio-cultural information. At this stage the authors set the following tasks
Familiarize students with the concepts of "sociocultural", "intercultural", "creative research activity", "online+ Project", "dialogue of cultures" as complex integrated structures, revealing their relationship learners, enhancing their reflective activity
