Input- school building, teaching materials, furniture Process- strategies and techniques of teaching In studies, we can find out that more students use modern technical equipment. Serious research on the influence of education technology on cognitive processes was conducted by Kaufman .When using educational technology we should be primarily focused on the educational value of the tools and applications we use, how adequate they are in the acquisition of knowledge, whether there is an interaction between users and tools, and if we have positive effects in using them. A number of authors suggest that we should focus on five areas of software programs that have the potential to strongly influence children’s learning experience: 1. The educational value of the program, 2. Its ability to engage children in learning, 3. Ease of use, 4. Interactivity between the child and programs, 5. The possibility that a software program monitors the progress of the child. The development of sociocultural competence with the help of computer technology. Today the Uzbekistan educational system is undergoing a period of reformation. The recent introduction of new educational standards in higher education in Uzbekistan and the conversion into a 2-level higher education system require a reorganization of educational process with a new orientation. In the current situation the competence-based approach becomes significant. According to this approach the result of the educational process should be not the knowledge and skills in a specific area, but the basic competencies which reflect the practical ability of a specialist in their professional activity. In the framework of foreign language learning this goal-setting includes the ability of students to realize intercultural communication, the effectiveness of which depends on their level of sociocultural competence. This competence ensures a high cultural level of students as well as effective communication among the representatives of different cultures. Sociocultural competence is necessary for a translator because they are mediators who contribute to the cooperation of different nations. They know all the spheres of life, politics and economy of a nation that speaks this language. The level of sociocultural competence is what success in translation and interpretation mainly depends on. Many modern scientists emphasize this fact. Despite the existing body of studies dedicated to the usage of modern information and communication technologies in the development of students’ sociocultural skills, however, one needs to recognize the fact that there are many undeveloped or insufficiently studied problems. They include the absence of a nomenclature of sociocultural skills that can be developed by means of modern Internet technologies (blog-technology, wiki-technology, podcasts). It’s also necessary to elaborate a methodological system of developing students’ sociocultural skills by means of modern Internet technologies for the major “Linguistics and Translation Studies” In the last forty years the process of education has changed a lot. The main reason of it is rapid development of computer technologies. Nowadays it is almost impossible to image student without electronic gadgets. Easy access to the Internet became the cornerstone of the modern concept of education when the teacher turns from the source of information to the supervisor of educational process. Moreover the development of the fast Internet connection allows to create international projects which can unite people of different nationality, mentality and lifestyle. This process can enrich sociocultural knowledge of students. Under sociocultural knowledge the authors understand the abilities of intercultural communication with the representatives of different cultures they include the knowledge of social and cultural life, understanding of native and foreign culture, knowledge of native and foreign language. Sociocultural knowledge leads to the formation of sociocultural competences – the ability to interact with partners who belong to different cultures. The aim of the article was to estimate how methods of teaching based on the computer technologies contribute to the development of the sociocultural knowledge and competences in comparison to traditional teaching methods. Computer technologies are observed in this article as a tool which provides motivational, methodological opportunities for teachers to improve educational process. The process of teaching and upbringing - is a creative research guidance of cognitive activity provided by the teacher. During this process teacher should create conditions for increasing motivation and cognitive activity of students. Modern teacher should clearly understand the mechanisms and ways of developing education and training in order to ensure the effectiveness of the trainees in their cognitive activity and movement from ignorance to knowledge. “Choice of right pedagogical technology is essential for the development of knowledge, skills, worldview, beliefs and personal qualities of students. It should link the activities of teachers and students. Currently, the most topical educational technology is a computerized training and education, which provides for the need to seek out prospects of learners, their creativity and self-disclosure in the process of constructing new knowledge”
