Students can discuss some points arising from the video and article. You may want to ask students to respond
to the first question and group them to continue according to their responses: salt or pepper people to discuss

use vocabulary from the lesson and offer reasons and examples in support of their ideas. Monitor and support as
necessary and conclude the stage with some feedback and error correction, including pronunciation.

This activity can be used as a filler or cooler if you have some time in your lesson. Students read about word
pairs with fixed orders (or binomial expressions) and apply the guidelines to some common examples, as well as
considering how their own language works.
