1. W hat is a Lesson Plan?
A lesson plan is a docum ent that outlines the content o f your lesson step-by-step. It’s a list o f 
tasks that your students will undertake, to help guide your teaching.
A lesson plan is usually prepared in advance and can either cover a o n e-o ff activity, an entire 
lesson, a unit or course, a day, or a week.
Lesson plans are prim arily docum ents that are printed, or saved as a PDF for a teacher to 
follow. 
You can create your own lesson plan layout or pick a predesigned lesson plan
tem plate.
2. W hat is Included in a Lesson Plan?
Lesson plans prim arily include a schedule o f activities that you w ill deliver in the lesson. Some 
lesson plans also include additional sections for m ore thorough planning.
