ANNOTATION 
 
The course book has been published for the students of Nurses Education 
faculties in medical institutes. The book has been worked out according to the new 
standards on “Nursing”, new curriculum on the subject and qualification 
characteristics. 
The text-book includes quite complete necessary material for students-
nurses: 
main (basic) requirements on the discipline. 
The material is devided into 2 sections: “The theory of Nursing” and 
“Clinical practice”. Learning material has been developed including modern 
demands to the training of medical nurses with Higher Education, it determines 
the nursing process its stages as well as reflects the signif-cance of managing the 
nurses case histories.The course book enables the students to learn and gain the 
tactic of patient’s examination, to reveal the problems and to plan nurse’s care. The 
detailed description of methods of physical exam, evaluation of different organs 
systems condition in the organism diseases children is noted. 
The authors found significant to mention about the diet organization, the 
role of nurses in pharmacotherapy, commucative skills development. Besides that, 
modern approach to management and organization of sanitarian education as a 
part of nurses job of highly qualified nurses has been given. The role of etics and
nurses rights aspects as well as protection of nurses’ health is shown. 
While designing the course book modern WHO and UNISEF materials have 
been used.
