3. Show, don’t tell. 
At this age, pupils tend to learn by watching and doing. Pupils will better understand 
what you are trying to say if you utilize visual cue cards rather than spill tons of words 
in their direction. If you tell new words some of them cannot catch the meaning, 
pronunciation, structure. So, you should demonstrate on your presentation the picture 
of this word (for example, you want to teach “apple” word) with the name in English. 
Also, you can ask to draw the pictures and point them with colors. It is positive way 
to teach to pupils using visual tools. 
4. Give them lots of time to practice. 
At the lesson, you cannot expect you pupils to get it immediately. You need to provide 
lots of examples, check for understanding, and give them enough time to prepare.

During listening they ask to listen again or when you tell some words, they are 
required to repeat. At this circumstance, you should satisfy their demand. Practicing 
is the mother of knowledge. And they are beginners to learn English language. Be 
patient to teach to students! Don’t be idle!
5. Organize English atmosphere. 
In the classroom you should use English songs, melodies, hero of English cartoons 
who pupils like, drawn and colored pictures by pupils, fairy-tales… If you glue to 
pictures of cartoons or fairy-tale hero, pupils can feel free and it helps to be creative 
and active to the lesson. If you stick the pictures according to foreign countries, for 
instance, Big Ban or Eiffel tower, you can motivate your pupils to go there, to learn 
this language fluently. In addition, to 1

grade pupils you may make ABC or numeric 
songs listen. 
To sum up, teachers must be on an effective and comfortable way to teach students.
It is important that teachers should be patient, skilled, creative, experienced. Chiefly, 
teacher must be self-confident and skillful.
