Challenges of teaching English. 
The first internal problem is pedagogical 
competency, which deals with the effective use of teaching methodologies. In language 
teaching and learning, there are several novel learning methodologies such as 
Communicative Language Teaching (CLT), Task-Based Learning and Teaching

(CBLT), and others. Teachers, on the other hand, may find it difficult to introduce those 
tactics for a variety of reasons. It might not be suited for educating large groups of kids 
with limited resources, for example. As a result, teachers must work more to effectively 
execute certain learning practices. 
It is difficult to persuade youngsters to learn a language because their goals 
differ. Some of them may find English difficult to understand, while others may not. 
In addition, students' progress is not evaluated frequently. It poses a dilemma because 
the assessment is required to determine how well the students have grasped the 
material. As a result, pupils with a poor level of English proficiency are uninterested 
in learning and lack incentive to do so if their progress is not routinely checked. It is 
actually worse because if they do not want to learn English, it will be difficult for the 
teacher to explain the materials and involve them in the learning process.

other hand, is extremely important for students. Students will be unmotivated to learn 
English if their parents do not assist them in doing so. 
Conclusion. 
To summarize, it is not easy to teach English in primary schools. 
Stakeholders must consider not only the teaching-learning process in the classroom, 
but also people's perceptions of the importance of English. Furthermore, there are 
various advantages to having English introduced and taught in primary schools. This 
indicates that teaching English in primary schools benefits pupils more because they 
will have more time and opportunities to acquire the language.
