4.9 Data Sources
To achieve the intended objectives of the research and to answer the basic
research questions raised, both primary and secondary data sources were
consulted.
4.9.1 Primary Sources
The primary data were collected from the following sources:
From selected textile firms; the aim was to examine their
marketing strategies formulation and implementation practices
through in-depth interviews
From the Ethiopian Textile Development Institute about the
companies market (especially export) performances information.
This was achieved through in-depth interviews.
