Objectives: to enable Students to match sentence strips their listening knowledge
Time: 20 minutes

Procedure:

Ahead of time, write causes on sentence strips and matching effects on other sentence strips. Make sure there are enough for your whole class. Pass out a sentence strip to each child with either a cause or an effect. When you say
“go,” have the kids walk around until they find a match. When they’re done, they can quickly share out their answers. This cause-and-effect lesson is a great way to get kids out of their seats and moving.


Summary. Time: 5 minutes

Teacher evaluates Students participation in class and gives home work. The home assignement will be exercises from the workbook. Students must complete all the tasks and do the exersices.

Materials: text book handouts, board and a computer, pictures, marker
Warm up: Ice-braker speaking activity
Objectives: to prepare students for the lesson, activate their background knowledge in top-own processing
Time: 10 minutes
Materials: text –book, board and the chalk
Mode of interaction: whole class
Stick some photos on the wall around the classroom of children doing children-like things (or play short video clips if you have them). Have students in pairs look at the photos and discuss whether or not they did these things in the past and whether or not they do them now. Feedback on this from a few students. Next, ask the students to write down 3 things that they themselves did in the past but don’t do now. Give them a couple of minutes to think about it and write, and then collect the pieces of paper and keep them – you’ll need them for later on in the lesson.
