THE EPOS “KITABI-DEDE GORGUD” IN THE INVESTIGATIONS BY ENGLISH LANGUAGED SCIENTISTS
Summary
Some investigations about investigating Azerbaijan folklore in English languaged sources have been written lately and in those scientific investigations founding, investigation history, copies of the epos “Kitabi-Dede Gorgud” have been also studied. The special place has been given to the problems about the translation of the epos into English, the original variant of the epos and its English translation variant have been compared, many examples have been shown, not only the successful points but also the defective characters have been also given.
In the article the problems about investigation of the epos “Kitabi-Dede Gorgud” by English languaged scientist, the translation of the epos are studied in details.
