Substantivisation or lexical ellipsis consists in dropping of the final nominal member of a frequently used attributive word-group, the remaining adjective takes on the meaning and all the syntactic functions of the noun and thus develops into a new word changing its class membership and becoming homonymous to the existing adjective.
Substantivisation is often accompanied by productive suffixation: e.g., ‘one-wing (adj.)’ – ‘a one-wing plane’ – ‘a one-winger’; ‘two-deck (adj.)’ – ‘two-deck bus or ship’ – ‘a two-decker’.
Murodjon, Orif, Xolposh xola, Risolat opa, Afzalxon, Yo‘ldosh are proper names given to people in the short story “The Moon radiates because of the Sun”. And in lexicology such kind of items scientifically named as ‘antroponyms’.
Chirchiq, Asaka, Qorasuv,Praga,Toshkent are also proper names which are given to places. And in lexicology such kind of items scientifically named as ‘toponyms’.
CONCLUSION
The conclusion is that conceptual analysis of the lexical field denoting ‘spirituality and enlightenment’ in English and Uzbek has a systematic arrangement. That is, the conceptual analysis of these units is linguistically alternate, mutually proportionate.
As the result of the process of preparing this course paper I obtained some useful and supplementary acquisitions.
Firstly, practical approaches about conceptual analysis of the lexical field denoting ‘spirituality and enlightenment’ in English and Uzbek formed on our mind and this kind of activities led us to develop our state of being familiar with such scientific projects. On the other hand, the course paper I am about to finish made me investigate and research on the given topic.’ Conceptual analysis of the lexical field denoting ‘spirituality and enlightenment’ in English and Uzbek’ is the scientific name of my course paper and this topic satisfied my demand on the project while I am working on it.
Secondly, the other most important process of the course paper a linguistic and lexical analysis of the text I have read before. Because I had not attempted to analyze such a big amount of writing resource in one common language yet. Not only words, word expressions and phraseological expressions related to enlightenment and spirituality have been conceptual analyzed with my teachers and supervisor.
What I am going to conclude is that the parts which are separated into two chapters. In the first chapter, I gave information about the origin of the subject lexical field denoting ‘spirituality and enlightenment’, well-known scientists and their contributions to this field, conceptual analysis of lexical fields and others. Moreover, the first chapter is abounding with definitions of variety of scientists who researched on this main branch of lexicology. In addition to this, the chapter 1 continues with the lexical fields such as ‘spirituality and enlightenment’. I finished the chapter 1 with one of the category and fill it with some adequate information and explanation. In order to define the content obviously there were given examples and meanings related to the topic. I can say that the process of researching on one common theme of lexicology increase one’s knowledge about scientific research acquisition.
When it comes to making activities on the topic of conceptual analysis of the lexical field denoting ‘spirituality and enlightenment’ in English and Uzbek, it was not difficult for me at all. Because naturally I am good at teaching methods and I used making activity skills with the help of these teaching strategies. I tried to make different kind of activities such as gap filling, true/false questions, underlining the most appropriate words in the sentences given, completing the table, making new word from the suffixes and giving their definitions according to the theory part of the course paper, multiple questions, tests and matching activities. Although I am not excellent at writing such kind of written sources, I tried to be as better as possible with the support of my teachers, supervisor, and also my course mates. Furthermore, I faced some difficulties finding appropriate information through internet web recourses and lexicological books, because it is one of the most complex processes in preparing course work.
All in all, preparing this course paper became one of the worthy procedures of my studying at the university and taught me several practices and theoretical approaches.
