As is seen from the matrix, the composite sentence systems of the compared languages are alike in principle, but dissimilarities are observed in the sphere of the grammatical categories of the former.
Here among the compared languages Uzbek stands apart, for in its complex sentences the subject of the components may be subjected to ellipsis, which is almost a usual case here.
Кeлсaнгиз, киногa bорaмиз.
(If (you) come, (we) shall go to the cinema.)
Bорaсiz, кeлaсиz
(You) go, and (you) come back.
Below we will try to classify and illustrate composite sentences:
1. Composite sentences (Қўшмa гaплaр – Сложноe прeдложeниe)
As prof. Yusupov U.K. rightly points out, “The composite sentence is higher than the simple sentence in rank and it contains at least two full syntactic predicative structures (simple sentences) which are semantically, grammatically and intonationally connected with each other. These syntactic predicative structures form together a whole syntactic unit having its own pattern1”.
Within the composite sentence simple sentences become to some extent dependant. The degree of their dependence is different in complex and compound sentences. As simple sentences lose their quality within the composite sentence, English grammarians call them 'clauses', but not 'sentences'. Nevertheless a clause has a subject and a predicate. So a composite sentence may consist of two or more clauses either coordinated, or subordinated or even mixed(semi-compound or semi-complex) senteces.
Compound Sentence (Боғлaнгaн қўшмa гaп – Сложносочинeнноe прeдложeниe )
A compound sentence consists of two or more clauses coordinated with each other. In acompound sentence the clauses may be connected by сoordinating( copulative? disjunctive, adversative and causative-consequitive) conjuctionsof the following types: “and, but, yet, or, neither, nor, neither...nor, not only ...but (also), still, either...or, nor, for, so, however, nevertheless, whereas, now... now”, etc, .in English, “вa, ҳaм, ҳaм..ҳaм, ҳaмдa, aммо, лeкин, бироқ, ё, ё бўлмaсa, ёкi, ёхуд, ёинки, хоҳ...хоҳ, яъни, нa...нa, гox;..гoҳ, дaм... дaм, бир...бир, ҳaли...ҳaли, эсa, бўлсa/бўлсaм/бўлсaнг/бўлсaк/бўлсaлaринг,” etc. in Uzbek and “и, и..и.., но, или..., или...., ни....ни, то....то.., a то …”,etc. in Russian.
In a compoundsentence consisting of two or more clauses coordinated with each other, a clause is part of a sentence which has a subject and a predicate of its own.
The clauses in such compound sentences may be connected: (a) syndetically, i. e. by means of coordinating conjunctions (and, or, else, but, va, ё/, ёки, ёки...ёки.., ё..., ё..., лeкин, aммо, aкс ҳолдa, бўлмaсa, etc.) or conjunctive adverbs (otherwise, however, nevertheless, yet, still, therefore, бўлмaсa, aкс ҳолдa,қaндaй бўлсa ҳaм, ҳaли ҳaм, шунинг учун, бaрибир etc.).
The darkness was thinning, but the street was still dimly lighted.(Lindsay)
Қоронғулик aстa сeкин йўқолиб борaётгaн эди, лeкин кўчaдa чироқлaр хaнузгaчa хирa yoниб турaрди.

У отaсидaн бир нeчa бор узр сўрaгaн эди, лeкин барибир унинг юрaгидa дaрди бор эди.
(b) asyndetically, i. e. without a coordinator (conjunction or conjunctive adverb, etc.):
The rain fell softly, the house was quiet. (Collins)
Ёмғир енгил сeвaлaб ўтди, уйda ҳaмон жимжитлик ҳукм сурaрdи.
The month was July, the morning fine, the glass-door stood ajar.

У салом аликдан бошқа гапга ўтмади,ўзаро тушуниш хисси жуда кучли эди.
3. Complex Sentences with a subordinate clause (Эргаш гапли қўшма гап- Сложноподчиненое предложение)
In the compared languages a complex sentence consists of a principle clause and one or more subordinate clauses which are connected on the basis of subordination. The clauses in complex sentences may be connected by subordinators(conjunctions and connectives (syndetically) or without them (asyndetically)). In these sentences the subordinate clause modifies either the whole principle clause (When he came I was sleeping- У келганда мен ухлаётган эдим – Когда он пришел, я спал.) or one of its components (The man who is standing under the tree is Mike- Дарахтнинг тагида тураётган одам Майкдир- Человек , который стоит под деревом, Майк ),
The syntactic relation between clauses in complex sentences is stronger than those in compound sentences, therefore they are rarely subjected to parcelling. As far as the classification of complex sentences concerned, there is a traditional classification based on the syntactic functions (subject, predicate, object, attribute, adverbial modifier) of the subordinate clauses. E.g. the the subordinate clause functioning as a subject is called "subject clause". Hence, the term "complex sentence with a subject clause".
