collection of these lives. It was on his wanderings to Mecca and elsewhere after he quit the Sufi 
circle of Ruknuddin that he decided to make the collection. In his stories Sufis use to illustrate the 
need for balance between material and metaphysical thing, in the classic Memories of the Poets. It 
is not accepted as literal reporting but allegolical. Sufism is such kind of science one can enjoy 
being near to God when his soul communicates with Him directly, can find spiritual development, 
perfect patience, can manage himself whenever he travels over desert of his life. 
Sufism is not temporary science butan Islamic science that calls man to perfection.As we 
have seen above Sufism has been studied for centuries. It is divided into three periods, called Zuhda 
(secularism), Tasawwuf (Sufism) and Sect (Sufi brethren) and we are convinced that each period 
has its own creators, great scholars who have made a significant contribution to the development of 
Sufism to this day, and the ideas they put forward during their work are enduring. 
They also wrote on religious matters, notable on Sufism, and seems to have been influenced 
by the Islamic idea,they also deal with philosophical subjects in the Aristotelian tradition. Sufis 
wrote their works as they come to them and entered their blood. So there is nothing artificial in their 
works and they are free from any pretence. It is better to read them once than to hear a lot.As Attar 
says, “Whoever did not taste it, will never know”.
