course for learners, it should be taken into account that it must be coordinated with the work
program used by the teacher and be freely integrated into the existing textbook for the possibility of
mixed learning. In addition, when developing distance learning courses, it is necessary to clearly
focus on the age of potential trainees.
The style of presentation, illustration of the course, selection of content, tasks, and the entire
organization of the learning process are determined by the age characteristics of learners. Finally,
the development of training courses must necessarily take into account the technological basis of
training. All the material placed on the server should be structured in an appropriate way, illustrated
with multimedia files, which can greatly facilitate the assimilation and understanding of the
material. When teaching a foreign language, it is important to use video conferencing and network
services to organize an interactive discussion and effective feedback between the pupil and the
teacher.
Teaching English to gifted children using remote technologies can be improved by
providing:
1) verbal communication in natural language, implemented in the form of dialogical
interaction of the learner with the computer, the teacher, as well as native speakers;
2) creating communication-oriented communication situations in the language being studied;
3) providing an information support tool (search, processing, storage and transmission of
information) for the pupil's activities;
4) formation of strong grammatical skills at the stages of introduction, training and
application of educational material.
Access to information should not be restricted by any limits, each of the subjects of
educational activity should be able to use its entire volume at any convenient time. However, the
delivery of knowledge should be carried out in stages, in accordance with the standards of training,
coordinated by the educational system and managed by English teachers.
It is the teacher's responsibility to activate the potential of the pupil, his knowledge base and
personality, make him an independent unit of the learning system and guide him to new heights of
knowledge.
The current trend in teaching foreign languages is to switch to a person-oriented education
system, which should include the pupil as a subsystem.
All these requirements, like no other direction, correspond to distance learning in English,
using Internet technology, because it fully implements the right to free access to information for
each of the participants in the educational process.
Distance learning, incorporating all the latest developments in the education system, opens
up broad prospects for school education. But, nevertheless, the importance of distance learning of
foreign languages in the system of general secondary education becomes quite serious only in the
case of its relationship with other teaching tools, such as printed materials and multimedia
equipment.
Teachers of foreign languages, in particular English, as carriers of information, should not
just pass on their own knowledge to learners and activate each of the components of the training
system, but also reproduce the content of training courses in such a way that each of them can
perceive, understand and systematize the knowledge received. The original system of information
must be decomposed by them into component parts, between which relations are defined and all this
is recreated in the minds of learners. In addition, it should be done in such a way as to prevent the
loss of previously acquired knowledge and skills.
Since distance learning takes place in the form of a one-on-one communication between a
learner and a teacher, all the attention of the teacher belongs only to this learner, and is not
dispersed between the entire audience.
This method is used by all the most modern and progressive technologies of pedagogy, so it
is recognized as highly effective by both learners and teachers.
