Method

  1. The subjects

The target populations of the study were pupils who study Grade X in school which is situated in Fergana region Besharik district and the number of school is 5. There are twenty eight pupils in a class. They are divided into two groups according to register. There are three English lessons in a week. We have done our research on XA class which is divided into two groups “A” and “B”. We have chosen group “B” as an experimental group and “A” is standard group that themes were taught with the traditional methods by their own teacher. We began our action while practical time at this educational establishment. Firstly, we made speaking conversation with every pupil in “B” in order to know their levels. We comprehended that some of learners are good at grammar, but they can’t use all grammar rules in their speaking and also they have poor pronunciation skill. That’s why; teachers should concentrate on such kinds of things. Teachers should give learners a helping hand to believe themselves. we added some sorts of method in previous section that related to our theme. We used media materials in order to create English atmosphere in the class. According to the subject we are concerned with these methods serve our objective which is to resolve, investigate the main difficulties of speaking skills among intermediate level learners. In tackling this study, we are going to use the questionnaire as a tool of gathering data in order to have global valid results. All questionnaires are so important for every language teacher. In addition to that they are for learners to gather different views about using interactive methods of teaching speaking, as well as they are for teachers of oral expression in order to get information about how to improve the speaking skills of the pupils.
Sample of the Study
The questionnaire is done with the pupils. Among 28 students, we chose a number of 14 learners as a representative sample from different backgrounds and abilities and some of them are different level. Also, there will be a questionnaire for 2 teachers of oral expression at the same division.
