Abstract Solubility in the HOH₂CNCSN(CH₂OH)₂-Cu(CH₃COO)₂-H₂O system was studied by the isothermal method at temperatures of 25 and 50°C. An isothermal diagram of solubility at 25 and 50°C was constructed, on which the crystallization fields of HOH₂CNCSN(CH₂OH)₂, Сu(CH₃COO)₂ of the new compound and the compound of the composition HOH₂CNCSN(CH₂OH)₂•Cu(CH₃COO)₂•2H2O are demarcated. The compound was isolated from the expected region of crystallization and identified by chemical and physicochemical analysis methods.

Introduction. An important problem in the chemistry of coordination compounds at the present stage of its development is the study of various properties of drugs synthesized from physiologically active substances - derivatives of amides and thioamides with micro and macrometal ions, including the synthesis, study of the structure and properties of complex compounds [1]. This is due to the great possibilities of their practical use in various sectors of the national economy. The study of coordination compounds is advisable not only to expand the areas of their practical application, but also to solve the fundamental problems of chemical science [2].
Therefore, the search for the synthesis of new complex compounds with biologically active molecules is very relevant [3].
