INTRODUCTION (abstract of PhD thesis)
The aim of the research work is to improve the methodology for the development of speech
competencies in 10-11 grades when teaching their native language in secondary schools.
The object of the research work is the process of improving the methodology for the development of speech competencies of 10-11 grades students in the lessons of their native language.
The scientific novelty of the research is as follows:
the content of training for the development of speech competencies of students in teaching their native language has been improved on the basis of communicative, integrative, creative approaches;
a mechanism for the integrated development of speech competencies in the lessons of the native language was created on the basis of didactic principles (speech and linguistic, differential, creative approach);
developed an algorithm for non-standard, integrative exercises and tasks aimed at the development of oral and written speech of students;
the assessment criteria (expressive reading, types of written work, extracurricular activities) and levels (reflection, critical thinking, presentation of attitudes, written narration) of the organizational process in the development of students' speech competencies were improved on the basis of control of practical skills.
Implementation of research results. Based on the scientific results of a study to improve the methodology for the development of speech competencies of 10-11 grade students in their native language lessons:
proposals on indicators and mechanisms for teaching and developing the content of education in the senior grades for the development of speech competencies in teaching the native language are included in the content of state educational standards and qualification requirements for the subject "Native language" (Certificate of the Ministry of Public Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated __ 2021 No. ____) ... As a result, the development of speech skills in students, independent knowledge of the read text and improved writing skills were achieved;
didactic principles of the integrated development of the components of speech competencies in the lessons of the native language, as well as proposals for a system of special exercises and tasks for oral and written speech of students were used in the framework of the applied project No. on the study of English, German and Uzbek languages "(2015-2017) at the Tashkent State Pedagogical University (Certificate of the Ministry of Public Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated __ 2021 No. ____). As a result, the methodological support for the development of students' speech in teaching their native language has been improved;
proposals developed on the basis of innovative approaches based on the methodology for the development of speech competencies of students of general education schools, factors of logic and creativity are used in practice by the State Education Inspectorate in preparation for the PISA program (Certificate of the State Inspectorate for Quality Control of Education No. 01-489 dated June 9, 2021 No. ). As a result, the content of the system for assessing the oral and written speech of students in grades 10-11 was improved.
proposals for assessment criteria (expressive reading, types of written work, extracurricular activities) and levels (reflection, critical thinking, statement of attitude, written narration) of the organizational process in the development of students' speech competencies based on the control of practical skills contributed to the development of written speech of students in grades 10-11 based on their use of dictionaries (Certificate of the State Inspectorate for Quality Control of Education No. 01-489 dated June 9, 2021). As a result, the content of natural sciences in the upper grades of the general education secondary school has been improved and the quality of education has increased.
