The form and type of the lesson

Practical lesson

Plan of the lesson/agenda

  • I will start the lesson by greeting the students.

  • Then we do a warm-up activity before moving on to a new topic;

  • I ask background questions to find out what students know about 1) authentic reading and 2) authenticity in reading.

  • After their answers I will explain the topic with my own words and will give some examples for each part which is given in ppt.

  • Next step will be cooking process with authentic materials.

  • After pre-activity, I summarize the students' answers. and I will explain the new topic in detail. As while activity, we will do 2 exercises which are connected with new topic.

  • At the end of the lesson, I will give some questions for students, they should answer with giving some examples. Then, we will give them marks, and I will give some drawbacks for each student.

The aim of the lesson

To explain the students the role of authenticity in reading. Giving right explanations and improve students' knowledge about authenticity

Objectives:
Aim of each activity should be written
1. Describing pictures
There will be 3 small groups and will be given some kind of pictures and they should describe in with details.
2. Cooking process. Students should divide into 2 small groups, and member should explain the preparation of meal.
3. Brainstorming activity.
Students in pairs should brainstorm the Authentic materials.
4.Using the C activity
Should say the names of things which will starts with the letter C

Outcomes:
Students by the end of the lesson should:

  • Be able to give examples for authentic reading.

  • Be able to speak about the process of preparation.

  • Be able to describe pictures with materials.
