IV. Reflecting stage

Reflection


I have faced many challenges in conducting this movement study. My first the challenge was to choose a good, useful, and at the same time problematic topic. I
I even changed the theme I chose a few times without liking it. Then I chose the topic of engaging passive students in the lesson through listening activities. I chose This topic is due to the follow-up results of my 1 month practice school. Because in school, teachers usually teach only through the school textbooks. As a result, many students have lost interest in the subject. They sit down negligence and noise in the classroom annoys students who want to read more. The first stage, I have observed and observed this situation in many teaching processes The main goal of my action research is to work with passive students. I has read books, articles, and scholarly works by many professors to cover this topic with clear theoretical and practical evidence. I can too Add to this the topic I have chosen and the methods I have used in my time microeducation is really good and effective. I think the information and
the experience I have gained will be of great help to me in my future teaching career.
In the second stage, I presented the results of my questionnaire interviews school teachers and students based on my topic. While collecting it information, teachers and students modern and traditional teaching methods. According to the students, it is traditional
teaching methods are very boring for them. Therefore, most students are not like that interest in the lesson, preferring to go to a tutor to learn English in class. Most teachers choose the method that is easiest for them, i.e., they just go through the lesson from the textbook. Because we need to look for new creative ways. According to Listening activities and games are very fun and for students useful for them. Because all students want to get good grades during the lesson. I
focused on each student’s opinion and I used those ideas in my micro-education lessons.
Before my micro-education class, I took a test to test students ’knowledge registration The students' results were unsatisfactory. Because they had very few listening tasks before. But after 2 lessons I took a test to see what else the results I received. Happily, 70-75 percent of students achieved good results on this test.
I also encountered a number of challenges during the course. Excitement and In the first lesson, the fear was strong. I even forgot to give students homework because I was so excited and in a hurry in the first lesson. But students the class I entered was very orderly. They took an active part in the lesson and respected me too. Passive students who did not attend class were also accepted active part. During the lesson, I scored for each correct answer and awarded the students who scored the most points at the end of the class. I awarded the student with the highest score with a paper crown. It was a lot of fun
for them.
In conclusion, I can say that during this time I have gained a lot of new knowledge this is action research. I used new methods in my teaching students participated and got acquainted with the opinions of professors and teachers.
