The scientific novelty of the research work. The concept of culturally marked words and their translation have been widely studied by English scholars as well as Uzbek translators under the term "realias". However, all of these studies have noted that in most cases culturally marked words are common in the process of literary translation, and have proved their views and opinions mainly through the translation of literary texts. But the use of culturally specific words in political discourse and their translation in the process of simultaneous interpretation is a new field that has not yet been explored.
The practical value of the research work. The practical significance of the work lies in the possibility of using the research results in order to systematize the vocabulary of the Uzbek and English languages, in translation theory, in lexicographic practice, in special courses on the theory of intercultural communication, regional studies, in lecture courses on both general and private lexicology, translation theory, history of simultaneous interpretation studies, comparative typology.
The theoretical value of the research work. The theoretical significance of the conducted research lies in the study of an important topic for the theory of translation related to the specifics of the national language – the topic of culturally marked words and the problem of their interpretation in simultaneous interpretation, which makes a certain contribution to the development of the general theory of translation.
The main methods and techniques of analysis in the study are the following: observation method; description method, comparison method, content analysis, interviewing, analysis of dictionary definitions, contextual interpretation.
The structure of the given work encompasses an introduction, three chapters, a conclusion, references, and appendixes.
