INFLUENCE OF TECHNOLOGICAL TRANSFORMATION ON
SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF THE MACHINE-BUILDING
COMPLEX OF UKRAINE
At the present stage, one of the most important tasks of the Ukrainian economy is
the sustainable development of industry. Only stable development can increase the
country's competitiveness in the context of the globalization of economic processes
and ensure its economic security. At the moment, we can observe a new industrial
policy aimed at reducing costs and increasing labor productivity through constant
technological transformations. This method is aimed at the tactics of prevenient
management of enterprises. Ensuring state control over strategic energy, natural and
financial resources, which necessary for its sustainable economic development is a
guarantee of the state's independence and leadership in technology.
Industrial production and its dynamics significantly affect the economic situation.
If we consider the current state, according to State Statistics Service of Ukraine data,
since mid-2019, the intensive growth in industrial production, which was observed in
previous periods, has slowed down [1]. According to statistics, instability of economic
results is observed in all types of industrial production (fig.1).
For the sustainable development of the industrial complex of Ukraine, it is
necessary to stabilize the activities of specific organizations [3].
The machine-building is one of the largest industries that sets the level of
scientific and technological progress, supplies other industries with equipment,
machines, tools, instruments; carries out metal processing, repairs of machinery and
equipment; provides the population with consumer goods.
