The relevance of the topic of this study is due to the increasing role of business communication at the present stage of development of society as a whole. Business communication and correspondence as one of its forms provide a variety of areas of human activity and form the basis for the existence of such areas as: diplomacy, commerce, international economic, scientific and cultural cooperation.
The degree of study of the problem. The need for fixation and analysis of this layer of speech was to some extent satisfied due to the appearance of numerous textbooks and reference books on commercial correspondence, business etiquette, culture of business communication, etc.
Speech characteristics of official documents are considered in the works of K.S. Fedorova, I.R. Galperin and V.M. Boguslavsky and others.
The linguistic characteristics of the studied texts were also of interest to V.A. Murata, V.V. Kalyuzhnaya, I.S. Volskaya, N.N. Razgovorov and L.V. Nizhnikov and others.
The aim of the study is a comprehensive multi-aspect analysis of business correspondence from the point of view of its constituent speech genres and the speech behavior of the authors in order to determine the features of the translation of official documents (on the basis of original business letters in English).
Tasks of the research:
1. Characteristics of the content of business documents in the system of functional styles of the English language.
2. Study of the lexical grammatical features of the translation of official documents and correspondence.
3. Study of the grammatical features of the translation of official documents and correspondence.
4. Demonstration of examples of the use of business vocabulary in the translation of documents and correspondence.
The object of the research is modern business speech in English, fixed in business correspondence and presented by authentic business letters from the collection of business correspondence and foreign publications in English.
