When Bukhara could not resist the Iranian invasion, Abulfayzkhan was forced to go to Nadirshah to sign a treaty of surrender. According to the treaty Nadirshah was declared the supreme ruler, and the Bukhara Khanate was declared a dependent state of Iran. Nadirshah's army will receive 200,000 bushels of wheat and barley for 8 years. In addition, an army of 10,000 citizens of the Bukhara Khanate will be sent to Nodirshah. The army is led by Muhammad Rahim, the son of Muhammad Hakimbi. In this way, Abulfayzkhan became a puppet ruler of Iran. Muhammad Hakimbi became the prime minister. Practically all power passed into his hands. The end of the Ashtarkhanid rule was imminent.
