When you see
through
a project, it is like
going through
it, but often with
the sense of supervising it, guiding it, or managing it. When you have seen
it through, you have finished it.
'We're late on the Birmingham project.'
'I know there's been some problems, but I'm seeing it through.'
I take responsibility for finishing it.
Separable two-word verb

Normally we can see through a window because it is transparent. And if
you lie to me and you are bad at lying, I can see
through
your story. You
have not deceived me, not fooled me. You have not made a fool of me.

see to
See to something means to see that something gets done, that a problem
is solved. 'I will see to the problem of falling sales in our Inverness
branch.' means 'I will give this problem my full attention.'
Don Ferrari has a problem with a competitor. His assistant says, 'Don't
worry, boss. I'll see to it.' And the boss has a competitor less.
see about
is similar, but with less commitment.
