Responsible to assist guests with luggage and parcels. May also serve as door or parking attendant and van driver.
•
Helps guests by transporting luggage to their rooms.
•
Shows guests around their rooms; explains equipment such as television, lighting, air-conditioning, and Internet access
hookups.
•
Describes hotel facilities such as the restaurant, swimming pool, and exercise facilities; shows guests where these facili-
ties are located, if requested.
•
Parks guests’ cars and helps guests to secure taxis.
•
Runs errands for guests including taking and picking up dry cleaning.
•
Posts letters and messages.
•
Provides directions.
•
Answers questions (e.g., about local attractions and shopping).
•
Assists guests with luggage needs at check-out.
•
Delivers guest-related items such as flowers, parcels, and messages.
•
Knows about and can assist with emergency guest evacuation.
