A skill that I have found difficult to learn is photography. I really enjoy photography. I love 
taking photos. Anyone in my life will tell you that I take far too many photos with my cell 
phone or an actual camera. But a few years ago, I did buy an actual, sort of professional-
level camera, and even the process of choosing a camera was quite difficult. You have to 
learn so much about the different types of cameras that are out there. What they can do? 
What they can't do? Why you would choose one over the other? So, it's a great deal of 
pressure just choosing the correct camera, let alone even learning how to use it. And then 
once you have the camera you have to research what kind of lens you need, some people 
are using this lens for, portrait and some people are using this lens for scenic photos so 
then I had to decide, I don't have enough money to buy all of them. So, what am I going to 
be taking photos of most often? What will benefit me the most for the money that I have? 
So then, you know, I have the camera, I have the lenses, but then I have to learn how to 
actually use it. Which means learning things about aperture and shutter speed. And I 
thought I'll point the camera at something and it's a beautiful camera, it will take a beautiful 
picture, but it turns out making the camera see what my eyes see is a very difficult skill to 
acquire and to perfect. So by no means have I perfected this skill that I'm seeing some 
improvement which makes me feel pretty good. But there's all these little things that I 
never thought of like, I don't really. I'm still figuring out how to safely clean all of my camera 
equipment, because it's all very delicate and you can scratch it very easily, and as I 
mentioned, it's very expensive, so you have to be very careful with it. But it does make me 
feel really good that I am seeing some improvement and sometimes I'll go out and, you 
know, I'll be really proud of my composition.
