49. Describe a toy that you that you had in your childhood.
One of my favorite toys when I was young was my Legos. I really enjoyed it building things
and taking the time to follow the designs that some of the sets would come with. It was
challenging I had to reproduce this buildings and and build things also that were rather
useful. We would build ramps for our toy cars. We would build like army bases for
our army
men so that we could have battles. We built towers and knock them down so the pieces go
everywhere. So it was fun because you would spend some time building something and it
was just fun to knock it down and make a big mess out of it. But
it was also a really big
sense of accomplishment when I could make something look like a photo that I was
supposed to be reproducing and when I could make something that was functional, like a
ramp for the cars or some of the sets would come with wheels, so you built something that
actually became a usable functional object. So it would become another toy essentially. So
that was the really fun thing about Legos. It was just a world of
opportunity and a world of
possibility. Your imagination was the only limit or restriction to what you could do with
these little blocks. I think it really helped to build some different skills as well. There's a
sense of engineering when it comes to these, there's some logic involves,
problem solving
definitely and eye coordination and also just the ability to see something and reproduce it
which is pretty amazing skill to be developing at a young age. So it was educational as
well, but really the most fun thing was just to build something destroy it over again. I was a
lot of fun.
50. Describe a happy event you organized.
A happy event that I organized was my wedding. It is a really big process and I think
people don't realize how much goes into planning a wedding till they actually in the peak of
it, because it's a lot. The first thing you have to decide is where you're going to do it. So,
we picked a venue that we really loved. It was outside and had a nice view. Of course, we
had to make some contingencies in case there was rainy weather that day. We had to be
prepared for any eventuality. After we picked the place, we had to send invitation, so that
we gave people plenty of time to send a notice so that they could let us know if they would
be coming and we could plan accordingly with how many chairs and how much food we
would need. Picking the food was the fun part, I think, because you can sort of imagine the
foods that you'd like to have there. You can go and you can taste the food at
the restaurant
that's going to cater the wedding so that was the fun part. And we decided on some things
that we thought at
least most people would enjoy, but at the end of
the day also it was
more about us, so we picked things that we liked. Selecting the music I think was the most
stressful thing, just because I really wanted to have music that everyone would enjoy and
would hit the mood of each period of the wedding: the dinner and the dancing and the
ceremony. For some reason that was the most stressful thing. We had to choose flowers
which was a nice part of the process. A little did I know that there were so many different
meanings associated with flowers. I would like one flower and then they would say "Oh no
this is for funerals" or "oh no this is not a good flower for wedding. It has bad meaning". I
didn't realize that would be quite so complicated.
