a thorough 
clinical and anamnestic analysis of 113 case histories 
of patients with rosacea of the face was carried 
out. a development card was drawn up for each 
patient, which reflected the timing of the disease, 
age, causes of development and concomitant 
pathology, received therapy. a comprehensive 
examination included general clinical tests, scraping 
from the skin of the face for Demodex folliculorum, 
consultations with a gastroenterologist, gynecologist, 
endocrinologist, a conversation was held to 
determine possible trigger factors – exposure to 
uV rays, emotional stress, alcohol consumption, 
unhealthy diet, etc.
research results.
The study of the duration 
of the disease of rosacea showed that up to 15 
years old suffered – 14 (12,9 %), from 15–35 years 
old 43 (38,3 %) and 54 (47,7 %) patients – more 
than 40 years. The leading factors of development 
and exacerbation among rosacea are nervous 
(associated with hypertension) – 31,8 % (35 patients) 
food 24,6 % (27 patients), 23 % (26) exacerbation 
was observed in the summer, and endocrine 
dysfunctions – 12 % (76,1 % (7) women, 23,8 % (4) 
men), gastrointestinal tract pathology – 3 % (62,5 % 
(9) men, 37,5 % (5) women).
Conclusions.
The data obtained indicate that 
the severity of the course of rosacea correlated with 
gender. In men, the course is more severe, which 
is associated with a low appeal to a dermatologist, 
more often gastrointestinal diseases are detected 
due to improper diet, a more pronounced predispo-
sition to bad habits. In women, the presence of ner-
vous and endocrine pathologies associated with a 
labile psyche, the menstrual cycle is more often noted.
