day night. The PMS report that estimates that night’s house count will be of critical
importance to the food and beverage director who must estimate the number of guests
expected in the hotel’s dining rooms that evening and the next morning. Revenue man-
agers may be less interested in this PMS report, because today’s house count is not
likely to affect decisions about how to establish and manage future room rates.
