LEAVE Policies Focus Edumatics -2022

Saturday/ Sunday 
shall be included in the Leave Period 

In case of separation, the employees can encash the balance eligible leaves 
subject to fulfilling all the exit norms. 

Employees can accumulate the EL maximum up to 45 days and the same 
will be reimbursed @ basic rate by the end of the year when it falls due.

15 days prior approval from Reporting Manager is required for availing EL 
exceeding 5 days. 

Casual Leave (CL) (12 days p.a.) 
 

Eligibility
: Completion of probation period 

CL for the month will be earned only if the person has actually worked for at 
least for 15 days in that month. 

Leave will accrue proportionately from the date of joining 

Incase of emergency maybe conveyed over phone 

Can be carried forward * 

Intervening 
Saturdays/ Sunday 
shall be included in the Leave Period 
NOTE
: Invariant of CL accumulated, you can only carry forward upto 6 days in a year 
In case one avails more than 1 day leave a month and he/she does not have 
CL/EL balance, the Accounts/HR Department will automatically consider the 
additional leave as 
LOP

Please Note
: Leaves must be applied for in advance. Leave sanction is subject to 
management discretion.

Comp Off: (Compensatory Off): Leave provided on account of working on 
holidays or weekly off to complete the specified task. 
 

Eligibility
: From the date of joining. Approval from the Reporting head is 
mandatory.
 

Cannot be combined with any other leave. 

Should be availed within a maximum period of 90 days based on their 
Managers approval or else it shall lapse. 

Maximum of 3 days at a time can be availed. 

Employee should have worked for atleast 8:30 hours to be eligible for Comp off.
