Conjunctions are joining words; they are used when we want to join two words,
phrases, clauses or sentences together.

There are four kinds of conjunction: co-ordinating , sub-ordinating ,
correlative and compound .
Co-ordinating conjunctions join sentences (or parts of sentences) of equal
importance. They can be remembered by the mnemonic FANBOYS :
