Dictate: ‘nine, name, find, and climb.’ Make a pause after each
word and wait for all the pupils to finish.
Write the words on the board for checking. You can organize
peer checking, self checking or check yourself.

doing sums.

‘Open your books on Page 19.’ Point to Activity 4. Use
gestures and wait for all the children to open their textbooks.
Check if they have the correct page.
say:
‘Look at Zumrad and Jasur.’ (You can divide them into
pairs: a boy and a girl.
say:
‘Let’s count!’ boys answer as Jasur. Girls answer as zum-
rad) elicit all the answers and check them with the pupils to-
gether. You can add some more sums for revision.
