Since, all other things being equal, due to often mechanical reasons, an increase in one's own body weight should have led to an increase in results in throwing, it can be concluded from this that in this case there was a deterioration in the physical fitness of the subjects, which to some extent was masked by an increase in body weight.
Thus, according to the results of the analysis of achievements in this test, it indicates that the greatest improvement in the physical condition of female students occurred in the period from September to January and from January to May, i.e. during the period of attending physical education classes, which was characterized by the presence of regular basic physical exercises, on the one hand on the other hand, and relatively moderate environmental temperature.
Breaks in physical exercises combined with the phenomenon of hyperthermia, which are typical for the summer months of the year in this region, led to a decrease in physical fitness indicators.
Analyzing the test data in grenade throwing (Fig.3.1) statistically significant positive changes were observed only in the winter period of the year. Especially significant was the change in the results in grenade throwing among second-year girls in the period from January to May. The changes were 1.15 m, and were statistically significant ((p<0.01). A similar shift in results during this period of the year was observed in girls of the first year of study of 1.14m (p<0.05). As for the summer months, in this case there was almost a stagnation of results, so for second-year girls, the shift in results was almost zero: 22.4 m in May and 22.4 m in September.
A different picture was observed in the dynamics of the flexibility test indicator (Fig.3.2), where the positive change in results occurred relatively evenly during the winter months, where the increments were small and in no case did they reach statistically significant values. However, indicators in the summer months of the year there was a tendency to worsen the results, not reaching statistically significant values. It can be assumed that the lack of focused classes aimed at developing flexibility led to the fact that the growth of this motor quality was relatively slow and therefore, for several months it was not possible to detect statistically significant changes. However, the fact was found that during the academic period of the year, the indicators of flexibility grew unreliably, and in the summer periods of the year it is well consistent with the facts that reflect the general trend of changes in physical fitness indicators during the year among female students of secondary specialized medical educational institutions living in hyperthermia. This general dynamics in its main features consists in the fact that the most significant increase in results occurs mainly during those periods of the year when the air temperature is relatively low for students systematically engaged in physical exercises during regular basic classes.
The general trend in dynamometric indicators is very evident (Figure 3.1), where there is an improvement in results in the period from September to January and from January to May. Relative to the changes that took place from May to September, they were either zero or showed a weak negative trend. For example, in the first-year girls in the period from January to May, the dynamometry index increased from 25.8±5.8 kg to 28.6±6.3kg (9.8%). The difference in this case was 2.8 kg and was statistically significant (p<0.01).
The data of the conducted studies indicate that changes in the indicators of physical fitness of female students of secondary specialized educational institutions living in conditions of hyperthermia pass through two periods during the year: the first covers the period of training sessions and lasts from September to May, when there is a tendency to increase the indicators of physical fitness and a relatively small increase in body weight. The second period is the summer holidays, which is characterized by the cessation of regular basic physical exercises and high ambient temperature, This period is characterized by an increase in body weight in girls with simultaneous stabilization or even deterioration of some indicators of physical fitness.
Special attention should be paid to the fact discovered according to literary sources that the inhabitants of temperate latitudes are characterized by a directly opposite picture of the motor capabilities of girls. It is during the summer months that they have an improvement in their physical fitness indicators. The authors who studied a similar question found that such seasonal variations are caused by a lack of YES in the winter months. In the region studied by us with high ambient temperature, the reverse picture takes place, where motor deficiency in the summer months associated with both a break in regular physical exercises and a restriction of YES due to external hyperthermia leads to a slowdown in the growth rate of physical fitness indicators. This puts on the agenda the question of the need to activate and rationalize the motor regime of female students of the medical school in the summer periods of the year in conditions of hyperthermia.
7.8. Results of correlation analysis
Correlations between indicators of physical development and physical fitness were studied. The results obtained for second-year female students are presented in Tables 3.H, 3.4 and 3.5. Analysis of the results of correlation calculations revealed that the highest dependence was found between the indicators of body length and weight (r= 0.71), which is fully consistent with similar indicators identified in studies of the female contingent of this age group by other authors.
Of the indicators characterizing the relationship between the level of physical fitness and the degree of development of the physique, the most significant was a positive correlation between the values of body weight and the results in throwing (r= 0.54).
This dependence is easy to explain. A girl who has a larger size and body weight has certain advantages when throwing. L.P. Matveev argued that absolute strength is largely determined by the total size of the body and its weight characteristics. Consequently, this test characterizes not only physical fitness, but also reflects to a certain extent the features of the physique. Therefore, when using the test in grenade throwing, to assess the level of physical fitness, it should be borne in mind that sometimes an error occurs. To eliminate this error, it is necessary to introduce an adjustment for the difference in weight and body length, which is possible by introducing weight categories, or based on regression equations /27, 93, 136/.Achievements in grenade throwing correlate well with body length indicators (r=0.48).
