Second-year female students had an average achievement of 16.48 ±1.02 s in spring, while in autumn the average result was 16.17±1.04 s (1.02%) (Fig. 3.1)
A different picture can be traced in the summer months, if we compare the results in the 100 m run demonstrated in May and September, it is clear that there has been no increase in achievements in the 100 m run for more than three months. There are either no differences at all, or they are so small that they do not reach statistically significant values. It can be concluded that an unreliable improvement in the results in the 100 m run in the studied contingent occurred only in those periods of the year that were not characterized by high external ambient temperature. In the months with particularly high ambient temperatures (June-August), the results stagnated.(Table.3.2) Similar dynamics of changes in physical fitness indicators is observed in the 500 m run (Fig. 3.2). If we compare the two main periods of the year - from September to May and from May to September, it can be seen that in the first period, in 5 out of 6 cases, the differences reached statistically significant values, and only in one did not exceed 1% of the level. As for the summer period, in none of the three cases did the differences they have not reached the 5% significance level and, therefore, cannot be considered statistically reliable. Only in one case out of three differences exceeded the 1% significance level, and in the other two cases they did not even reach these values. It follows from this conclusion that the increase in the result in the motor test, like running 500 m, characterizing the motor quality of endurance, changes occur during the academic period of the year. It can be concluded that an unreliable improvement in the results in the 100 m run in the studied contingent occurred only in those periods of the year that were not characterized by high external ambient temperature. In the months with particularly high ambient temperatures (June-August), the results stagnated.(Table 3.2)
