Homonymy is also important in determining the semantic properties of lexemes. It is known that homonymy refers to lexemes that have the same spelling and pronunciation but different meanings.
For example, the word handle ( dasta) in Uzbek has two meanings:
1. Dasta - a handle 2. Dasta - a bundle that can be folded.
However, in the home appliance system, the first meaning of the word is used.

Furthermore,the word sink in English has two meanings:

1. 
   A sink is a large fixed container in a kitchen, with taps to supply water. It is mainly used for washing dishes.

   (of a ship) go to the bottom of the sea or some other body of water because of damage or a collision.
   

She dropped her glass in the sink and took a step backward.

The English language is very rich in neologisms – the word have been created recently and perhaps will not live in the language for a long time. It is very seldom that we find equivalent for the translation of neologisms and for the most part we use descriptive translation and word-for-word translation /people of good will, top level talks. We usually make out the meaning of the new words with the help of the context, but it is also necessary to take into consideration the way of their formation.³⁵ Neologisms are one of the main factors that lexically enrich the system today. Especially in the system of household appliances, its semantic and morphological significance is primary. The scale of neologisms is growing, especially due to the discovery of new technologies in the field:

Google phone - Гуглофон
Internet - Интернет
Tablet - Планшет
Smartphone - Смартфон
HD TV - HD TV
Adapter - Адаптор
USB port - USB порт
Although neologisms are often translated from one language to another by transliteration, in Uzbek their intermediate language version is sometimes used. For example, some neologisms in English are used with their Russian form.
