terdapat distorsi makna atau terjemahan makna ganda
(taksa) atau ada makna yang dihilangkan, yang

translating event names, the translation of event names is accurate when the
message is delivered accurately by using the correct equivalence word in target
language and it is relevant with the context of situation and culture in target
language and it is not ambiguous.
The table 2.2 above, the translation is less accurate when source text in the
source language has been transferred accurately into target language, but there is a
distortion of the meaning or ambiguous translation or omitted meaning that
reduces the completeness of the message. In event name translation, giving
additional information or omitting/deleting some information of source language
will decrease the level of accuracy. The process of adding or omitting/deleting
information of source language potentially makes the translation less accurate and
ambiguous.
In translating event names, event names are inaccurate, if the message is not
delivered accurately or the event names translation is deleted.
2.
Acceptability
In translating, a translator should consider translation acceptability because it
is one of the aspects of quality assessment in translation. According to
Shuttleworth and Cowie (in Anari and Bouali 2009: 78) naturalness refers to the
extent to which a translation is expressed in clear, unforced terms in the target
language and it is the way of expression close to that of the native speaker. It
means that the translation should use natural language or commonly used term
and the term or language suitable of the norm of target language in order to make

the translation acceptable or close to the native speaker. Nababan et. al (2012: 51)
also proposes acceptability instrument for assessing.
