Introduction.
The globalization of the global economy has led to increased
consumer demand for products and services. The high costs due to the poor quality of
products have become a serious problem for the US industry in a timely manner. 20-
25% of current operating expenses at American businesses are spent on identifying
and correcting product defects. According to the 2018 analysis, industrial production
has a significant role, with the industry's share of world GDP making up 16.1%,
industrialized countries - 20.4%, and industrialized countries. 22.1% and 12.3% in
countries with low industrial development [8]. In this regard, improving the quality
management system plays an important role in improving the competitiveness of
industrial products.
Scientific researches have been carried out on the implementation of
international standards in the field of improving the quality management system to
increase the competitiveness of industrial products in the world. In particular, the
issues of developing the product quality management system and increasing its
competitiveness at industrial enterprises. Currently, research is being conducted to
identify and evaluate factors affecting the competitiveness of industrial products, the
use of innovative technologies in expanding the global industrial structure, the
creation of new products, the introduction of cost-effective technologies for industrial
production, the improvement of quality management systems, and the creation of
innovative industrial clusters. The work is underway.
Importance of quality management and standardization issues, ensuring the
quality and safety of industrial products require a completely different approach to
the existing management systems of enterprises. "Of the 21,895 existing regulatory
documents at the end of 2018, only 3,630 (16.6%) were harmonized with
international standards." The strategy of action identified such important priorities as
"... improving the competitiveness of the national economy, creating an effective
competitive environment for the sectors of the economy, and gradually reducing the
monopoly on the market of products and services, increasing labor productivity in the
sectors of the economy." Effective implementation of these tasks will require
accelerated efforts to improve the quality and competitiveness of domestic products.
