The plan of the lesson:

  1. To test pupils’ knowledge about Uzbekistan and pupils to do exercise 1 and choose suitable answer.

  2. What are the neighbouring countries of Uzbekistan?

  3. What is the total area of Uzbekistan?

  4. Glossary of geographical terms.




The aim of the lesson: After explanation the new theme the pupils will have date about linguistic, social-cultural, pragmatic competence. To improve pupils’ awareness of famous people in Uzbekistan’s history and their life. To develop grammar skills, listening skills, reading skills, using math terms. At the end of the lesson pupils will be able to speak about famous people who was born in Uzbekistan and their contribution to the motherland.

Pedagogical tasks:

  1. to teach and educate about new theme

  2. to explain text, conversation.

  3. To introduce linking words.

  4. to give exercises, to make sentences according the structures using linking words.




Results:

  1. Pupils should understand new theme listening to teacher

  2. They should know about formal and informal texts, abbreviations and their differences.

  3. With listening to teacher's words they should add some more information

  4. They should do some exercises using linking words and its use in oral speech.

Teaching methods:

Brainstorming, bliss, snowball, odd-word, fill the blanks, debate, discussion, role-play, fish skeleton, Venn diagram, cluster, verbal, “fan” method ,”case” study, “insert”, ”who, why” method

Visual aids:

Teacher’s book, student’s books, white and blackboard, handouts, jigsaw, lab top, wallpapers, TV set, flashcard.

Teaching of organizing forms:

Individual, in pairs, in small groups, generative, communicative.

Teaching condition:

Working room in groups equipped with special technical means

Monitoring, marking:

Presentation, composition, essay, exercises, analysis the text, vocabulary.
